This qualification / diploma is ideal for those who are already working as an experienced care-worker within health and social care or are volunteering in a similar setting or wish to re-train within a new expanding career. This qualification is the minimum level of competency required by the Care Quality Commission.

Entry Requirements:
  • Open to all candidates of any age, gender and race, creed or academic attainment in learning
  • Individuals must be already working in a social care setting, either employed, voluntary or observing service users and staff
  • Individuals are expected to have a good use of the English Language
