Requirements
to qualify for Full or Part Apprenticeships & Advanced Higher Apprenticeship - Who is entitled & What is it:
- Fully Funded Apprenticeships are available to 16 – 18 year olds (from a basic introduction to a Trade Course upto Level 1 & 2 City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualifications) or Part-Funded Apprenticeships to 19 – 24 year olds and Government Funded Advanced Higher Apprenticeships (Level 3 & 4 include: A Levels, Access to HE Diplomas & Certs) open to individuals 24+ years old
- Fully or Part-Funded & Advanced Apprenticeships are open to all UK citizens 16 – 18 years / 19 – 24 years & 24+ years, who are living in the UK on the first day of the start of their course & 3 yrs prior
- Open to all EU nationals & refugees
- We work with a Government approved College with in-house Trades training centre specialising in Plumbing, Electrical & Gas Training
- Training centres across London, the South East and the whole of the UK are open to all UK & EU citizens
- All courses / Qualifications approved by academic bodies & establishments such as; City & Guilds / NVQ & Employers across the UK
- New courses commence every month
- Courses can be studied either; Full or Part-Time (Evenings / Weekends), to suit your personal circumstances
- Qualified & Experienced Course Trainers
- Length of courses: Full-Time (Mon – Fri) to obtain an approved, recognised professional qualification takes from 3 – 6 months or Part-Time (alternate days or Evenings) 6 – 12 months or Weekends (consecutive or alternate) up-to 18 – 24 months - if required; it’s also possible to re-take exams at no extra cost until a pass-rate is achieved
- Courses are split into 3 key areas; Practical (within a training centre close to you), Theory (within a class-room environment) & Home- Study
- Exam modules can be re-taken until a pass rate is achieved
- Flexible re-payment loans are available if required
- If applicable; Government funds are available for individuals registered for Job Seekers / Income Support payments
- Job Placements available upon completing & qualifying
- Advice is given on the career-path to initially suit you; either as a full-time employee, sub-contractor or self-employed trades person
- Ex-Military / Armed Services (re-settlement); all approved courses are available to help you re-train

Student Loans
Applying for an Advanced Apprenticeship Student Loan
- >You can apply between 1st Aug 2013 – 31st August 2018
- Apprenticeship Student Loans available to adults over 24+ yrs
- Loan amounts: depends on the course, which are set by the college
- Student Finance England will pay the loan to your college / training institution, once a place has been confirmed
- You can have up-to 4 loans running at one time
- Repayment; based on your income & financial situation – open to individuals 24yrs+ on Job Seekers / Income Support
- No upper age limit

Courses
Advanced Higher Apprenticeship Trade Courses –
Electrical, Gas Engineer & Plumbing:
If you’re starting from the beginning or already have experience in a skilled trade and are looking to improve your skills or gain qualifications then you can take a Top-up / short course to help you quickly gain the qualification you require. The training providers will meet any other price in the local area (excluding special offers), it’s worth obtaining a quote to compare. Quotes include all training materials, registration and certification fees as well as lunch and refreshments.
Should you fail the exam first time, the training providers will allow you a free re-take included in the price.
Electrician Courses
If you require from a complete beginner or specific Electrical courses such as Part P 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations, Portable Appliance Testing, Inspecting, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations and more then please enter your contact details into the form a national advisor will contact you to discuss your requirements in more detail.
Gas Engineer Courses
For people who are new to or already have experience in gas but require ACS Gas Safe training and portfolio assessment to quickly obtain the knowledge and qualification that are missing. The training providers offer the full range of LPG, Natural GAS ACS Gas Safe course for both domestic & commercial / industrial environments.
Plumbing Courses
The courses cover not only plumbing, but also electric shower installation & connection, plastering and both wall & floor tiling. The course will happen in a fully equipped training center. The courses start regularly and the student can also do weekend training if required due to other commitments.
